Studying for Security+ | Network Security Design & Implementation

I have to say, I find networking really boring… I have had to do some networking work in my current and past jobs (which got me through this domain) but it is not something I have ever wanted to dive into further.

I do see the importance of the field and how it relates to security, so I tried to get excited about the material as much as possible. That being said, the course was over three hours long. I broke it into two sections and just powered through it. Concept-wise I understand everything. There were some sections I was looking forward to (like ARP poisoning) just because I have seen them but never took the time to understand them. Fact-wise, I’m going to have to spend some time here and make flashcards for the few dozen terms to memorize.

The notes are below. I took some screenshots, those are available in the Word version. Just a heads up, I can starting to go back through and make digital flashcards for each section on Quizlet that I’ll post a link to here.
